Specification
Our FD30 composite fire doors are designed to provide up to 30 minutes of fire and smoke resistance and must only be used as internal door sets. These are ideal for use in apartments, flats, or other internal locations where fire protection is required.
- Steel-reinforced 70mm fire-rated PVC-U outer frame
- 13 external door colour options with 11 matching outer frame colours
- Toplights available up to a maximum height of 400mm (limited styles – please contact us for details)
- Low-profile aluminium thresholds fitted as standard
- Full range of door furniture in polished chrome or gold finish
- Double glazed units featuring Pyrobelite or Pyrodur fire safety glass with laminated backing
- Cill options available: 100mm, 150mm, and 180mm
- Supplied with a mandatory overhead or concealed closing device
- FD30 fire doors are for internal use only and must not be used externally

Slam Shut Lock
GU Security Automatic – Fire Door Lock
This is a slam-shut locking system, meaning the door locks automatically when closed. The spindle is positioned 960mm from the bottom of the door slab and is supplied with fully adjustable composite keeps that include edge protection.
Featuring three solid deadbolts and a central latch, this lock is PAS 23/24 tested and approved. It is the only locking system we use on our FD30 Fire Doors, fully compliant with our fire testing certification.
